Configuring the Velocity Client

The Velocity Client needs to be configured to use Forms with Ivanti Neurons. It needs 3 pieces of information:

The address of the Proxy server

The public certificate for the Proxy server

The client certificate for the Proxy server

This page explains how to configure the address of the Proxy server for the Velocity Client. For information about distributing the certificates, see Distributing certificates.

When you configure the Velocity Client to connect to the Proxy server, the Proxy server address is associated with a host profile. The Proxy server address must be configured for each host profile where you want the Client to be able to access forms.

To configure the Proxy server address

1.In the Velocity Console, open a host profile.

2.On the Ivanti Neurons tab, find the Connection Type dropdown menu. Select Proxy server.

If you have already configured a Proxy server, select it from the Proxy Server list.

If you haven't already configured a Proxy server, select the Add Proxy server button. Provide the customer, Proxy server address and a friendly name for the Proxy server and select Save.

3.Save your changes to the host profile and distribute it to devices.
