Connecting Windows Phone 8 Devices to the Avalanche Server

You must create at least one enrollment rule before you can view Windows Phone 8 devices on Avalanche. When registering a device with Avalanche, use an e-mail address in one of the domains on the System Settings page. To add e-mail domains, see Configuring General System Settings. Windows Phone 8 enrollment is only available through LANDesk Mobility Manager 9.5.

To connect a Windows 8 device to the Avalanche server:

1  From the device, navigate to Settings > Company apps.

2  Enter your Email address and Password.

3  Tap sign in.

The device attempts a default connection. If the default address fails, you are prompted to provide the domain, username, and the fully qualified domain name of the Smart device server.
