New/Change Software Category Group Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to add a new software category group or to change the name of an existing group.

In either case, enter a name for the group and select OK. The alphabetical By category group list in the left pane of the License Units panel is updated with this name. Any software category groups you add or change are also shown in the Software Categories tab of the License Unit Template dialog box.

When you change the name of a software category group, the new name appears in Cherwell Asset Management, but the original names in the Cherwell Software Identification Database (CSID) are unchanged.
