Post-uninstall Cleanup: Agents and Files
After uninstalling Cherwell Asset Management, you may need to manually remove parts of the application that are not removed by the uninstall process.
Removing CAM Agents
If you uninstalled CAM Administrator without first uninstalling all CAM Agents, you'll need to manually uninstall those CAM Agents.
Removing CAM Registry Entries
CAM entries in your Windows Registry may still be left even after uninstalling the product. These entries are benign, but if you prefer to remove them, delete this Registry key:
- 64-bit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Wow6432Node\Express Metrix
- 32-bit:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Express Metrix
Removing Other CAM Files
When you run CAM, it creates some files that the uninstall process may not be able to remove. By default, CAM installs these files into the following folders, which you can safely remove:
- 64-bit:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Cherwell Asset Management\
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\esmweb
- 32-bit:
C:\Program Files\Cherwell Asset Management\
C:\inetpub\wwwroot\esmweb
