Run the Client Installation

Launch the installation on the Client machine to install the Client application files.

Remember: Run the installation as a system administrator so that all installation steps can execute successfully.
Tip: Client installations are run last and are typically pushed out to Users using the Auto-Deploy feature (configured separately).

To run the Client installation:

  1. Right-click the CSM Installation.exe file and select Run as Administrator.
  2. Select Client.
  3. Review the introductory text, and then select Next.
  4. Read the license agreement. The license agreement can also be printed. If the license terms are accepted, select the I accept the terms in the license agreement radio button, and then select Next.
  5. Select who can use CSM on the Client computer, and then select Next.
  6. Use the default location/folder in which to install the Client installation files or change the location by selecting Change. We recommend accepting the default installation folder. See Default Installation Folders. Select Next.
  7. Select which CSM applications to install, and then select Next. See Client Setup Types.
  8. Select Install.
  9. When the install is complete, select Finish.
