Endpoint Interactions

The Endpoint Interactions page shows the number of interactions with endpoints per bot over time.

Endpoint Interactions are the result of a stage where a query or action is sent to a device, as opposed to stages that are handled within the Neurons Platform or sent to an external system.
The Neurons Platform monitors the volume of endpoint interactions resulting from scheduled and API-triggered bots. When the volume exceeds the threshold, endpoint interactions are automatically Optimized by spreading them out. This protects both the endpoints and the bot service from being overwhelmed.
The threshold is several thousand interactions in a 5 minute window. It is the result of the number of stages that are processed, multiplied by the number of endpoints that are targeted. Human triggered bots bypass this mechanism.

You can access the Endpoint Interactions page from the Neurons Bots homepage.

Endpoint Interactions per Bot/Survey

This chart shows the number of endpoint interactions for a set of bots.
You can customize what is displayed (date range, bots, and bot-triggers) using the controls to the left of the chart.

Bot list

This list contains all bots that currently exist in your environment, and data about the resulting endpoint interactions.
These interactions are listed for the last 28 days and the last 7 days as:

  • an absolute number;
  • a percentage;
  • an average per day.

For the last 7 days, it also gives an indication if the average is trending up or down.

The Optimized column shows if the endpoint interactions for a bot were spread out because the volume of endpoint interactions exceeded the threshold. If this occurred, consider reviewing the Best Practices (expanding link above the chart).

The bot list is not affected by the configuration for the chart above it.
