Unlocking Media

You can unlock an encrypted removable storage device attached to a computer running the client using the Windows Explorer.

To unlock an encrypted removable storage device:

1. Select Start > My Computer.
2. Right-click the name of the device listed under Devices with Removable Storage.
3. Click Unlock Medium.
   RTNotify sends a message to the user confirming that the device is unlocked.
4. Click OK.
   The removable storage device is unlocked.

The message Device Not Ready may appear when a user attempts to access a CD/DVD or removable while logs are being fetched immediately after unlock.
