Discovery Configuration
In the Neurons for ITSM Release 2016.2, a new Discovery workspace was introduced, which provides a portal for the workspaces, configurations, queues, and diagnostics necessary to manage your installation of Discovery. The tab must be added to your role before you can see it.
Some functionality available from this portal can only be accessed and configured by administrators.
The Discovery Configuration workspace consists of a panel linked to other workspaces that Discovery Managers, Discovery Analysts, and administrators use to manage and configure the following discovery tasks:

Lists logs. To easily find a log, use the Service Name column to group similar logs. |

Adding the Discovery Configuration workspace to a role
1.From the Configuration console console, select Configure > Users and Permissions > Roles and Permissions.
2.Click the role to add this workspace. The Role Details workspace opens.
3.Click the Top Level Tabs tab.
4.Under the Tab Title column, click the Discovery tab .
5.Edit the name to Discovery Configuration.
6.Click Save.
7.Return to the Service Desk console. Refresh the application to see the Discovery Configuration workspace.
