Unified app-based registration

The integration between ITSM/ITAM Cloud and the Neurons Platform will be upgraded to support OAuth 2.0 authentication.

With this, the existing authentication method will be deprecated from 2025.4, with extended support available until the 2026.1 ITSM Cloud release. To maintain your integration, a one-time app registration is required in the Neurons Platform Integration configuration in the ITSM Configuration console. For more information on how to perform app registration, refer to the Neurons Platform Integration.

Data Import Connections

Starting from ITSM 2026.1 release, the following capabilities in the Data Import Connections feature will be disabled:

•File on Shared Folder

•FTP Connection Type

Azure AD Employee Connector using ITSM Webscript-based import

The Azure AD Employee Connector using ITSM Webscript-based import is now deprecated. The extended support for this feature will be available only until 2026.1 release. To ensure continuous operation, you are required to migrate your existing integration to the new Entra ID import connector in the ITSM Configuration console > LDAP Integration > Entra ID.

Ivanti Heat Discovery - end of life

Ivanti HEAT Discovery reached end of life on June 30, 2024. Starting with the 2025.4 release, all references to Ivanti HEAT Discovery will be removed from the Configuration console.

Deprecation of Neurons UEM-based Implementation of Incident Classification

With the introduction of the new, streamlined backend implementation for Incident Classification, Ivanti plans to deprecate the existing approach (leveraging Neurons UEM AI workbench) within the next 12 months. Customers currently using the Incident Classification capability should update their configuration to use the new algorithm.

The following Quick Actions are now deprecated:

•License Manager

•Send Mobile Notification

•Unlink Software Product

•Unlink Software Inventory

•Recognition Rule

If any of your action(s) includes the above noted deprecated action(s), you will either be warned about limited editing functionality (Classic Action Designer), or these actions will not be visible (Graphical Action Designer).
