Updating the Signing Certificate

If you need to change or update the signing certificate you're using on your WSUS Server (when it expires, for example), follow these instructions.
  1. From the Workspace (the lower panel on the left), make sure that Administration is selected.
  2. From the Administration tree, select HEAT PatchLink DeskTop for System Center > Settings.
  3. From the WSUS Signing Certificate Information section, click Update Certificate.
    Note: Instead of clicking Update Certificate, you can drag and drop your certifcate into the WSUS Signing Certificate Information section.
    Step Result: The Choose File to Upload dialog opens.
  4. Browse for your certificate and click Open.
  5. Enter the password for the certificate, if required.
Result: The certificate is updated successfully and its details are displayed.
