Using Discovery Integration

After installing and configuring Discovery Integration, you can manage your inventory data in the DSM Console and access the details of your managed computers. Also, you can use installation targets that have been created on the basis of the inventory data.

You can use HEAT Discovery as follows in the DSMC:

  • Access the home page of HEAT Discovery user interface
  • Access the details of a computer selected in the DSM Console via the HEAT Discovery user interface
  • Manage clients with static groups that are created based on inventory data

HEAT Discovery can only be accessed by users who own the right (Discovery) Start Console.
Therefore, make sure that this right and the respective roles have been assigned in the DSM Console.
