IPv6 Support

Starting with DSM 2017, Ivanti DSM supports IPv6 addresses and address ranges in the following areas:

  • Import criteria for AutoInsert rules:
    Use IPv6 addresses to define AutoInsert rules. You can link complex conditions in the LDAP Filter Editor by using IPv6 address ranges.

  • Site definition:
    IPv6 addresses can be used as criteria to define a site in the Site Properties Dialog. You can specify several site definitions for one site.

  • LDAP filters
    Use IPv6 address ranges as criteria or comparison in LDAP filters or filter conditions.

  • Basic inventory:
    IPv6 addresses can be used for basic inventory with the computer property ComputerNwDevice.IPv6Address.

    • The abbreviated notation of IPv6 addresses also works in Ivanti DSM.
