Creating a Virtual Application Package - Overview

Creating and using virtual applications in the DSM environment involves two basic steps:

• In the first step you create the new virtual application (see Creating a New Virtual Application)
• In the second step you put it in a software package and deploy it to managed computers like a normal software package (see Integrating an Existing Virtual Application)

A wizard guides you through both steps. You can find it in the DSMC's Object window under Software Factory > Virtual Application.
If you have already created the virtual application outside the DSM environment, you only have to follow the second step and integrate the virtual application.
