Maintenance Timeframe

Description:

Select the times when you want the maintenance timeframe to be active or inactive.

If the maintenance timeframe is active, the Installer is generally allowed to do maintenance, for example install packages based on a software policy.

If the maintenance timeframe is inactive, the Installer can only execute installations by actually ignoring the maintenance timeframe (policy property: Ignore Maintenance Timeframe).

Refer to Defining the Timeframe for more details on specifying timeframes.

Default value:

Not specified

This means:

  • Managed computers without server operating system always allow installations!
  • Managed computers with server operating system never allow installations!

You can specify a maintenance timeframe for computers, all containers and groups, except for the ORG, on the Configuration tab in the Detail window in Maintenance Timeframe.
Here you can find additional configuration variables with which you can detail the behavior in the maintenance timeframe.
The settings are passed on to child containers and computers.
