Installing the Patch for Configuration Manager Plug-in

Installation Steps

You must be running with local administrative privileges in order to install the plug-in.

  1. Using a Web browser, go to the Ivanti downloads page (opens in a new window) and navigate to the Patch for Configuration Manager downloads page.
  2. Download the Patch for Configuration Manager setup file.
  3. Close Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  4. Begin the Patch for Configuration Manager installation by double-clicking the file named ConfigurationManagerPatchSetup.exe.
    • If .NET Framework 4.8 or later is not installed on the Configuration Manager machine, you will be prompted to install .NET Framework 4.8 before continuing with the installation. Follow the on-screen instructions for installing this prerequisite. The installer will automatically continue if a restart is required after installing prerequisites.
    • If all prerequisites are installed, the license agreement is displayed. You must accept the terms of the license agreement in order to install the program.
  5. Enable the check box to accept the license agreement and then click Install.
    After the files have been installed the Completed dialog is displayed.
  6. Click Finish.

You next step should be to access the program and configure your database.
