Predefined Smart Filters

The predefined Smart Filters are identified by a leading asterisk. They cannot be modified or deleted, but you can make a copy of a predefined filter. The predefined Smart Filters are always available to all users.

Updates List

  • *All: All updates are displayed. If there are detectoids in the catalogs, they will not displayed by this filter. To view detectoids, select the *Detectoids filter.
  • *Bundles: Only bundles are displayed.
  • *Detectoids: Only detectoids are displayed. A detectoid is automatically published the first time that an update that references it is published.
  • *Included: Only the updates you select in the grid are displayed. You can use this filter to verify your selections before publishing updates to WSUS.
  • *Latest not-Published: Only those updates that are not superseded, have not been published to WSUS and are available for download are displayed. This is the default filter.
  • *Not-Published: Only the updates that have not been published to WSUS are displayed.
  • *Published: Only the updates that have been published to WSUS are displayed.
  • *Published metadata: Only those updates that have been published to WSUS as metadata only are displayed.
  • *Revised metadata: Only those updates that have been published to WSUS and that have unpublished metadata revisions in the current catalog are displayed. Re-publishing these updates will update the metadata in WSUS.

For updates that have different packages for each language, there is an implicit language filter in place in the Ivanti Patch grid. The only updates displayed will be those that apply to all languages (where the Languages column is blank) and those where Languages column includes at least one of the languages selected on the Settings dialog.

  • *All: All updates are displayed.
  • *Included: Only the updates you select in the grid are displayed.
