Version 13.05.00 Release Notes

Summary: A high-level overview of the changes/updates included in Ivanti Neurons Version 13.05.00, released on January 6, 2023.

The Ivanti Neurons platform version 13.05.00 update includes the following features and enhancements:

List View Enhancements

  • New Group By Columns - Several new date columns have been added to Host Findings and Application Findings Group By as optional columns: Latest Discovered On, Earliest Discovered On, Earliest Due Date, and Latest Due Date, Earliest Ingested On, and Latest Ingested On. Users can also investigate SLA metrics by adding the optional columns Overdue Findings, Findings Within SLA, and Findings not under SLA.
  • Prisma Cloud Account ID and Host ID Fields - The Prisma Cloud Host ID will now be available in the Host list view as a filter, column, and exportable field. The Prisma Cloud Account ID will now be available in the Application list view as a filter, column, and exportable field. These fields can also now be used in the Group By function for each of these list views. Within the Group By for Prisma Cloud Compute Host Account ID (Host Findings) and Prisma Cloud Compute Account ID (Application Findings), Earliest Ingested On and Latest Ingested On have been added as default fields.

Integrations

  • New Claroty connector - A new connector card is available in the Host integrations section for ingestion of vulnerabilities related to industrial control systems detected by Claroty IT, OT, and IOT. Assets will be imported into the Host side of a Mixed Mode network only. New scanner-specific fields available for filtering and display include Asset ID, Asset Type, Domain Workgroup, Resource ID, and Site Name. Dashboards

  • New Vulnerability KB Dashboard Widgets - Two new widgets have been added to the Vulnerability KB Dashboard. “Vulnerability KB vs. Other Data Sources” shows the comparison of Vulnerability KB sources versus Tenable, Qualys, and Rapid7. “Vulnerability Coverage” compares the distributions of CVEs by VRR and CVSS.
  • Quick Interactions Menu - The Quick Interactions menu will be available on the Prioritization dashboard. All widgets on this dashboard now also support the Host+App Asset Type configuration and load with this configuration enabled by default.
  • Q4 2022 EOL Widgets - Widgets under the Q4 2022 EOL tag will be removed. For more information about the impacted widgets, visit the article on End-of-Life (EOL) Communication - Q4 2022 EOL Widgets.

Miscellaneous Changes

  • Integration Notification - The Integration Status notification can now be configured to trigger notifications only when the connector returns a specific status, including Processed, Failed, or No Data.

Fixed Issues

  • Issues with auditing the asset exports for connectors have been resolved.
  • Tag counts will be properly reflected in the platform upon completion of the tag job.
  • Issues with the Rapid7 hostname ingestion consistency have been resolved.
  • Issues with the Rapid7 connector creating duplicate tag jobs have been resolved.
  • Workflow user notes will now allow new line characters.
  • The Host Details should display missing available IP Address information for Qualys and Crowdstrike.
  • Bar char widgets with the “Match Scales” option should now correctly render the bottom chart.
  • Issues with rendering “Issue Evidence” for the Expander connector have been resolved. This field is no longer supported as a filter or Group By.
  • The Quick Interactions menu should now correctly shift all counts on the SLA dashboard to the correct asset type.
  • Issues with deleting integration-related notifications have been resolved.
  • BMC Remedy port information can now be successfully be imported.
  • Users can now set the default “Host” Http header for the BMC Connector.
  • Issues with ingesting TenableIO data have been resolved.
  • SLAs will now pick up findings that had their due dates removed previously by a playbook rule.
  • The auto-suggested values for the filters “Nessus Deleted At” and “Nessus Terminated At” should now populate correctly.

Notices

  • In an upcoming release, all users will have their default page settings reset to platform defaults except for filters (if they have selected a default filter).

  • Over the next few releases, efforts to remove the fields from “Discovered On” and “Last Found On” from the platform will continue. The list view columns, detail pane, filters, export templates, and will all be removed during this time. Generic upload mapping for these fields were removed in this release. The article Status Date Fields Explained was previously published to help with understanding of these fields.

Known Issues

  • In Group By exports, the aggregated date columns columns added in this release are rendered as numbers instead of dates. In cases where no data exists, the field may read “Infinity”.
