Configure smart rules for the manager of the subscriber

In the Management Portal at Data Model > Smart Rules, configure sets of criteria that dynamically determine a person or a group of people.

A smart rule for the Manager of the subscriber applies an action to this person. This smart rule can be used (for example) to assign an Approve transaction workflow action.

For this rule to work, a people attribute must exist that specifies the manager of a person.

Configuration

Properties tab
Look up manager on	Specify the method that identifies people in your environment.
Using this attribute of subscriber	Specify the person attribute that stores information about the manager of the subscriber. The manager of the subscriber is determined by matching the specified people identifier with the specified people attribute.

Diagnostics tab
Subscriber	Specify a Subscriber to view who matches the rule. Only the top 100 results are displayed.
