Versions of Database Views

The following sections describe the database views that can be used within a custom query. Each view provides information about the current known state of machines, focusing on patch assessments. The name of each SecurityControls view begins with Reporting.

There are different versions of the database views available, some of which are intended only for legacy queries:

• Reporting.* views contain information about Windows data only and are for legacy queries only
• Reporting2.* views contain information about Windows and content-based Linux data
• Reporting3.* views contain information about Windows and contentless Linux data
