For assistance with using our new features, receiving feature documentation, and/or scheduling training, please contact support through the Ivanti Success Portal.

Integrations

  • New Capabilities in ServiceNow Incident and Request: These ticketing connectors now have the following configurations:
    • Select the type for the associated tag in Ivanti Neurons.
    • Lock fields within the ticket.
    • Map a ticket field to the Ivanti Neurons SLA date.
    • Map the ticket priority to vulnerability risk.
    • Configure which fields to include in the ticket attachment by selecting an export template.

Miscellaneous Changes

  • Users can now set default address type for network assets without an IP address in Client Settings.
  • All clients now have the ability to enable the MetricStream GRC connector. This connector allows users to create a ticket in MetricStream for every Risk Acceptance workflow. Rather than approving the workflow within Ivanti Neurons, the organization approves the workflow within MetricStream.
  • All clients can now enable the Rapid7 InsightVM connector. Findings and assets will appear within the Host Findings and Host pages respectively. For more information on this connector, view the Rapid7 InsightVM connector guide.
  • All clients can now enable Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Findings and assets will appear within the Host Findings and Host pages respectively. For more information, view the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint connector guide.
  • The field “Nessus Check Type” will now be available on the Host Findings page.

Fixed Issues

  • Changes to the Finding Collection description will now always show up in within the UI.
  • In the Workflow Updates section of the Workflow detail pane, the date of the last update will now reflect the most recent update regardless of whether the submission changes the workflow state.
  • Jobs that remove multiple assets from groups will now complete successfully.
  • Bulk deletes of findings will now complete successfully.

Known Issues

  • There is a known issue with identifying findings synced through Rapid7’s InsightVM’s connector. In some cases, two or more findings could have the same uniqueness, resulting in only the last one being persisted in Neurons and others being dropped. The Ivanti Neurons team has communicated the issue to Rapid 7 and is waiting for a response.
  • To optimize on latency and resources, the Microsoft Defender for Endpoint connector is currently Implemented as a delta sync. This results in the connector only syncing the changes since its last run. The Ivanti Neurons team identified some cases where this could cause a drift between the states of findings between Ivanti Neurons and Defender. Microsoft has recommended that Ivanti Neurons runs a full sync every 15 days as a solution. Customers could see this drift for the 15 day period. If you see this scenario, you can contact support to trigger an ad hoc sync out of band.
  • You may not be able to set a new value for the API Token Expiration setting in Client Settings > Security.
