Connector limitations

Active Directory, eDirectory and LDAP connectors have a reduced set of functionality when used in conjunction with the Query and Report Designer.

• They do not support paging (returning a specific number of items per page). You cannot page backwards in Query Designer if you are using it to query Ivanti Endpoint Manager. We recommend that you turn the paging off. Refer to Query and Report Designer for more information.
• You cannot filter by Distinguished name.
• They do not support multiple sort fields. You can search only one field at a time.
• You cannot sort on all the fields. The query will return no results if you try and sort on a field that cannot be sorted. This is a limitation in the external software applications.
• eDirectory and LDAP do not support sorting in descending order.
• eDirectory, LDAP and Active Directory can only support query conditions of one type. For example, they can only support query conditions of AND.

The Ivanti Neurons connector is for data import only. You cannot use it for other purposes such as queries and live look-ups in Service Desk.
