Customers

To be able to create customers, you first have a customer process. (For information about the predefined Customer process, see the Prebuilt Content Guide.) Each of your customers can start off as a prospective customer, and then you manage to convert them into your customer. At some stage, your customer may decide that they no longer want to do business with you, and therefore they become an ex-customer. To enable you to fully track which customers you have, and enable you to see at which state these customers are, you need to create a customer process.

For information about creating processes and using the Process Designer, see the Designer Guide.

If you want to import existing customers into your system, we suggest that you create a process with the minimum number of actions and statuses specified.

You can configure your system so that customers can only access their own data. For more information, see Data partitioning.
