Request Management: Password Reset Request

When this Request is initially saved, it is assigned to the SA user. You need to change this. We recommend that you assign the Request to a group or a role.

The Password Being Reset status provides a location to add integration with a tool such as Ivanti LPM that can automate resetting a password. From this status you can either cancel the Request, which moves it to the Closed status, or fulfill the Request.

When the Request has been fulfilled, the originator is notified and it is automatically closed.

There are Add Assignment, Add Attachment, and Add Task optional actions on the Password Being Reset status.
