Creating a new API user

Procedure 

1. In the admin console, select Users.
2. Click + Add > API user. The Add API User dialog page opens.

3. Enter the following details:

   • Username: Enter a meaningful User ID, such as "MTDAPIuser."
   • Email: Enter an email address for your Ivanti Mobile Threat DefenseAPI user.
   • First Name: Enter a first name for your Ivanti Mobile Threat DefenseAPI user.
   • Last Name: Enter a last name for your Ivanti Mobile Threat DefenseAPI user.
   • Display Name: Enter a display name, for example, "MTD API Admin."
   • Password: Enter a password.
   • Confirm Password: Confirm the password.
4. Deselect the Cisco ISE Operations option.
5. Click Done.
