Setting up the UEM platform

Local actions from the unified endpoint management (UEM) platform are network, device, and app threat notification and mitigation options that can be enforced from client devices, as opposed to actions enforced from the server. These actions vary by device type, with different options available for iOS, Android, and Android Knox devices.

You can configure mitigation and compliance for managed Ivanti Go devices using the Ivanti Mobile Threat Defense Local Actions threat defense configuration. This method does not require a connection to the server. The actions are applied locally on the device. Local action policies can be applied in parallel with server-initiated policies for best practice coverage.
