Ivanti Policy Secure Guest Access with Huawei Switch

In this example, guest users are redirected to a captive portal web page, which requires the users to authenticate before accessing internet.

The user flow is explained below:

• Guest user comes on-premises and connects to guest SSID.

• Guest user opens a browser to access an internet resource.

• The user is redirected to IPS guest login page.

• Guest user clicks the self-registration link from the guest login page and completes the registration process.

• If the Administrator has configured Host Checker policy, then IPS evaluates the Host Checker results.

• Guest user logins with guest user credentials. IPS validates the credentials and accordingly the user can access Internet.
