Gather Preliminary Information

Before continuing the Workspace Control configuration, several pieces of information are required. It is best to copy them into a TXT file.

The following values are used later during the configuration:

  • The tenant ID of the Azure tenant where the users reside.

  • The client ID of the application registration.

If using the Ivanti application registration, copy only the Azure tenant ID. The Ivanti application registration client ID is provided in Configure Workspace Control Directory Service.

To copy the necessary information, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Azure portal menu from the top-left corner and select Azure Active Directory from the menu.

  2. From the Overview window, in the right-side pane, under Tenant Information, copy the value of the Tenant ID field to the TXT file.

  1. From the left-side navigation menu, go to Manage > App registrations.

  2. From the right-side pane, copy the value under the application (client) ID column corresponding to the application registration.

    Enter the name of the application registration in the search box to filter the list.
