The Enabler can be configured using three methods: the Enabler configuration utility, the Avalanche Enabler configuration package, and through the Enabler interface (Click File > Settings) .
The Enabler configuration utility is accessed from the Wavelink Product Configuration window when installing the Enabler (see Configuring the Enabler). The Avalanche Enabler configuration package is added to a software profile in Avalanche, configured, and then deployed wirelessly to the device (see Configuring the Avalanche Enabler Configuration Package).
Default values and the availability of some options may vary based on the device and the method you use to configure the Enabler. For example, if you access the configuration utility from the Avalanche Console, the Network, Name Server, and Wireless tabs will not be present, because the settings are configured in a network profile.
