Before you install the Enabler on the device, you can use the configuration utility available with the ActiveSync interface to manually create an Avalanche Enabler configuration. You can also use the configuration utility to modify an existing configuration.
To create or modify an Avalanche Enabler configuration:
1 If you enabled Run Wavelink Avalanche Enabler, the Wavelink Product Configuration window will appear after you’ve finished the installation to your PC. You can also access this window by:
double-clicking the Enabler shortcut on the desktop.
-Or-
clicking Start > Programs > Wavelink Avalanche > [device name] Avalanche Enabler.

2 Click the Enabler Settings button.
The Avalanche Update Settings dialog box appears.
3 Use the tabs in the Avalanche Update Settings dialog box to modify the Avalanche Enabler configuration.

4 After you have finished modifying the configuration, click OK.
The configuration is saved and the Avalanche Update Settings dialog box closes.
The Use default install settings option on the Wavelink Product Configuration window only applies to choices presented on the device during installation, such as the location to install. Enabling this option will not affect any configurations made through the Enabler configuration utility.
