Installing the Velocity Console
The Velocity Console is an application installed on a Windows 7+ desktop computer. You must have .NET Framework 4.5 or newer installed prior to installing the Velocity Console.
If your computer meets these requirements, you can install and use the Velocity Console.
If you are upgrading to a new version of the Velocity Console, you do not need to uninstall the original application. The install file for the new version automatically replaces the original files.
1.Obtain the installation file from the Ivanti Web site. Once downloaded, launch the Velocity.msi file from an administrator account on your computer to begin the install process.
2.Click Next to begin the setup wizard.
3.Click Install to begin the installation process.
4.Click Finish.
The application is installed on your computer. To use the Velocity Console, either leave the Launch Velocity Console option selected on the last screen of the install or locate and launch the shortcut the installer created on your start menu.
This functionality is only available for TE projects currently.
The Velocity Voice installation file is a separate component to the console. Once you've obtained the file Speakeasy_Console_Addon_1.0.0.msi, simply install it. Once complete, the dialog closes and your TE projects can now use voice options.
