Location services settings

The settings on the Host > Location services tab allow you to enable and configure the privacy notice for collecting location data for the Velocity Client installed on Windows and Android devices.

Velocity only collects location data if all of the following conditions are met: 

•The option in the host profile is enabled.

•The user accepts the privacy notice at the beginning of the session.

•A script or form runs in the Velocity Client to collect the location data. For information on the location APIs, see Velocity Advanced Configuration Guide.

The following options are available on the Location services tab: 

•Location services. Allows the Velocity Client to collect location data from the device.

•Consent message. The consent message that appears at the beginning of each session to make sure user is aware of and willing to have location data collected. Administrators are responsible to make sure the consent message meets local legal requirements.

•Accept button label. The label for the button to consent to location data being collected.

•Reject button label. The label for the button to deny the Velocity Client the ability to collect location data.
