Troubleshoot Office 365 Connection Failures

Microsoft Office 365 connections may fail in these cases:

  1. Permissions were not authorized when the connection was created. This is the final step for creating the Office 365 connection in CAM SaaS Analytics. See Create a New Connection to Microsoft Office 365.
  2. The user creating the Microsoft Office 365 connection does not have rights to configure permissions in Azure. Contact your internal IT department to resolve this issue.
  3. Incorrect permissions were applied to the Azure application. See Configure Azure and Office 365 for CAM SaaS Analytics to learn about the permissions needed by CAM SaaS Analytics.
