Verify the Maximum Message Size Setting for the Cherwell Server Manager

If you attempt to import a large number of records from an external database through a Trusted Agent, you may receive a CommunicationException error.

An example error is:

System.ServiceModel.CommunicationException: The maximum message size quota for incoming messages (50000000) has been exceeded. To increase the quota, use the MaxReceivedMessageSize property on the appropriate binding element.

To solve this problem:

1. Open the Cherwell Server Manager (Start > All Programs > Cherwell Service Management > Tools Server Manager.
2. Select the Application Server, and then select Configure.
3. Select the Advanced page.
4. Increase the Maximum Message Size. The maximum value is 2147483647.
