Home
The Ivanti Neurons Home page can have one of two very different layouts:
Getting Started view
When you login to a new Ivanti Neurons instance, you will see a getting started view. This view guides you through the process of deploying agents, setting up Ivanti Neurons roles and permissions, adding devices and users, and configuring your instance to start gathering data.
Once agents have been deployed and the instance has begun gathering data, the Home page view changes to the Summary view.
Summary view
This view of the Home page displays important data that is specific to your organization and is customizable. It consists of various sections, such as:
- The Key Performance Indicators (KPI) section contains tiles that can display data from the categories Device, Patch, People, and Software. The numbers on the tiles usually provide a click-through to show more detailed information.
In order to modify the KPIs that are displayed, click the options menu () located at the top right corner of the selected tile. -
The Device management section summarizes the data about discovered and managed devices. Devices that haven't communicated with Ivanti Neurons in at least seven days are considered unseen devices.
- The Highlights past 7 days section provides a 7-day summary of discovered devices by type, OS, and discovered people by department. The department widget relies on data from connectors that provide information on people, such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory or Ivanti Neurons for ITSM.
- The Organizational DEX score section summarizes the overall score, the score discovered by devices and people, and the highest-level DEX view that aggregates all data from the four DEX Device and People score domains. Refer to DEX Scores.
- The Devices section summarizes the device OS, warranty, and manufacturer data. Warranty information is only available if you have connectors that report it on your managed devices, such as the Dell or Lenovo Warranty connectors. Refer to Devices.
- The Software inventory section summarizes an overall summary of installed software, including the most popular vendors and applications.
-
The Software spend intelligence section summarizes the top software by vendor cost and renewal cost. You must have a spend intelligence license in order to view this section.
-
The Patch management section summarizes compliance reporting, devices with and without a patch policy, and devices by exploit and malware type. This section is visible only if you have a patch management license.
