Configuring the Analyst Portal
The Analyst interface is a responsive user interface suitable for analyst user roles. You can configure and setup the Analyst interface based on your business needs.
Enabling the Mobile Analyst portal access for a role
The out-of-the-box user role aligned to the Analyst interface is the Mobile Analyst . However, you can enable any role to use it.
Out-of-the-box, the Analyst interface is assigned to Mobile Analyst and Mobile Asset Manager user roles. These roles are designed in a way that the they can aptly use the Analyst interface.
However, with the 2021.3 release a new check box Modern Analyst UI is introduced. Selecting the check box, the Analyst interface can be enabled for that particular Role. This check box is grayed out if the Overwrite default branding options with the options listed below check box is not selected.
The Analyst interface currently supports only limited controls hence not all forms/layouts would work with the interface. Currently, the Mobile Analyst and Mobile Asset manager roles are designed to include only the supported controls out-of-the-box. To view the supported controls functions, please refer to the related topics at the end of this topic.
As a try on customer can add newer roles and enable the Analyst interface and configure the supported controls. To enable the interface please follow the below steps:
1.Log in to Neurons for ITSM as an Administrator.
2.Open the Configuration console > Roles and Permissions > select a role.
3.Select the Modern Analyst UI option.
The configured role now has access to the modern Analyst UI.
Enabling the modern UI
To enable the modern UI for Mobile Analyst portal:
1.Log in to the Neurons for ITSM as an Administrator.
2.Open the Configuration console console > Build > Global Constants.
3.Type modern in the value field of ActivateTheme.
Enabling card configuration for Mobile Analyst Business Object
To enable card configuration for Mobile Analyst portal Business Object:
1.Log in to the Neurons for ITSM as an Administrator.
2.Open the Configuration console console > Build > Global Constants.
3.Set the Value field of EnableCardConfiguration to True.
