Overview

Patch for Configuration Manager provides alerts that notify you of important events. It's important to know when these events occur so that you can take the proper action.

You can consume alerts three different ways:

• From the Monitoring workspace in the System Center Configuration Manager Console: This area is used to configure the available alerts. It is also used to view active alerts that may require action for resolution.
• By subscribing to email alerts: If this feature is enabled, an email message will be sent whenever an alert is activated.
• By viewing Alert History
