Processes

This topic applies to systems using an Asset Manager or Universal license only.

The following Configuration Management processes are included in the standard database:

• Configuration Management: Configuration Item
• Configuration Management: Hardware Asset
• Configuration Management: Bundle
• Configuration Management: Contract
• Configuration Management: Laptop
• Configuration Management: Software License
• Configuration Management: Software Product
• Configuration Management: Workstation
• Configuration Management: CI types with managed versioning

Processes for the parent Configuration Item object can be used with any CI type.

Most of the processes in the Configuration Management module are not intended to be run directly. These processes are designed to be controlled using related actions from other modules such as Asset Management and Contract Management.
