Enabling printing of processes in Web Access
When you create a Web Access application using the Configuration Center, four Crystal Reports are copied to the C:\ProgramData\LANDesk\ServiceDesk\instance.webaccess\Reports folder. These reports are then used when users click the icon on the Web Access toolbar to print details of the Incident, Problem, Change, or Request that they have open.
You need to set the DSN for these reports. For information about setting the DSN for Crystal Reports, see Setting the Crystal Reports DSN and OLE DB provider.
You can edit these reports to change their appearance, but you must not change their names. If you have an instance that includes more than one Web Access application, you can configure Service Desk and Asset Manager to use the same reports for all of these Web Access applications.
To configure Service Desk and Asset Manager to use the same reports for several Web Access applications:
- In the Ivanti Configuration Center, open the required instance.
- In the Configured Applications group, alongside Web Access, click Edit.
The Edit Application dialog appears. - Type the required Reports path, then click OK.
The Reports path is set for the Web Access application. - Repeat for the other Web Access applications in the instance.
