Upgrade to the new version

Running setup.exe upgrades your existing software without having to uninstall first.

Before you start, make sure that you back up all of the files mentioned in Back up your previous installation (all versions).

To install the new version:

1. Make sure that all users are logged out of your Ivanti system.
2. Using the Ivanti Configuration Center, stop all of the Windows services for all of the instances you have set up.
3. Run setup.exe on each of the Ivanti servers to upgrade to the latest version of the software.
