Importing data and identifying software titles
This section describes how to import data into License Optimizer, including suggestions for best practices. When data has been imported into License Optimizer, the system then matches the imported software to items in the Definitive Software Library, so that it knows exactly what the software is and can then match it to the appropriate license. Sometimes, however, License Optimizer does not recognize all of the imported software, and you need to teach it how to match unrecognized phrases to items in the Definitive Software Library.
