Add usage-based inventory

Usage-based inventory is data that relates to software usage. Software usage can be categorized as user-related usage (relating to user accounts at a summary level or a user-specific level) or resource-related usage (relating to usage of specific resources such as orders, terabytes, etc).

You can import software usage data into License Optimizer using the Data Import functionality as described in Importing data. You can also create usage data manually in License Optimizer as described in Resource Usage and Software Users.
