Before we get started, there are a few items of housekeeping we need to attend to. We will also use this section to gain some familiarity with the user interface and to learn some of the fundamental concepts.

•Logging in – first of all, we need to log in and start familiarizing ourselves with the License Optimizer user interface.

•User accounts – we can now create further user accounts so that we don't have to do everything ourselves.

•Business units – business units enable us target our investigations to specific areas of the business. We will introduce the data import features of the product.
