Deploying Projects

If your mobile devices currently use the Ivanti Velocity Client, projects created and edited with the Velocity Console can be mass distributed manually or by using mobile device management (MDM) software like Ivanti Avalanche.

Before you can distribute projects to devices with the Velocity Client, you must first deploy all necessary elements of a project. The deployment creates a .wldep file containing all scripts, images, keyboards, themes, and other resources needed to use the project.

If you're also using the Speakeasy component, deploying a project will also create a .wlvpk file that contains the speech-to-text files for a selected language. The only languages where this file is not created alongside the project file are English and Spanish. These are both embedded within the Speakeasy .apk file.

Once your project is deployed, distribute all associated files to devices using one of the following methods.
