Ivanti Secure Access Client Deployment Using MDM
This document is a deployment guide for the Ivanti Secure Access Client (ISAC) using various MDMs, including Microsoft Intune, Ivanti MDM, SCCM, and Jamf MDM.
-
Deployment with Microsoft Intune: To deploy ISAC with Microsoft Intune, join the Windows machine to Azure AD, download and configure the client, and upload the MSI installer to the Azure portal for deployment.
-
Client Configuration: The client configuration file should be converted to Base64 and included in a JSON file, which is then used as a command-line argument during the MSI file upload.
-
Deployment with Ivanti MDM: For Ivanti MDM, create user details, upload the necessary scripts and client package, and configure distribution settings to deploy ISAC on Mac platforms.
-
Deployment with SCCM: Using SCCM, create a batch file with commands to install ISAC, create a new application in the configuration manager, and specify deployment settings to distribute and install the application.
-
Deployment with Jamf MDM: For Jamf MDM, upload the ISAC package to Jamf Cloud, convert the client configuration to Base64, create a script in Jamf, and configure policies for deployment on macOS.
-
Verification and Completion: After deployment, verify the installation by checking the running processes and ensuring the client package is updated on the client machine.
