Forcing Sync on Power

Android devices can be forced to sync when they power on, regardless of any blackout settings. This ensures that when a device is initially launched, it will always pull the most recent profile settings and payloads prior to use.

To enable this functionality, add the following lines to your existing wavelink_blackout.ini file:

Sync on power. This attribute specifies whether devices should automatically sync when powered on. By default, this attribute is set to true, even if it isn't included on the file. This attribute overrides any blackout settings. For example:

synconpower=true

Sync on power lag. This attribute defines how many seconds for the device to wait after booting before syncing with Avalanche. For example:

synconpowerlag=60

For information on setting up a blackout file, see Creating Blackout Times.
