Locating a Mobile Device

You can view the most recently reported location of a mobile device with GPS capabilities. The device is displayed as an icon on the map. In order to use this option, you must have a statistics server running, and statistics reporting must be enabled.

To view the location of a mobile device:

1.Click the Inventory tab.

2.In the Mobile Devices panel, select the check box next to the device you want to locate and click Locate.

The map appears with the mobile device icon displaying the most recently reported location of the device. Click on the device to view details in a callout box. If your current folder has mobile device profiles with geofence areas configured, the geofence areas will be displayed on the map.
