WiFi Payload (Android/iOS/Windows Phone)

A WiFi payload provisions devices with WiFi settings to connect to a WiFi network. This may include the SSID and password, encryption and authentication types, and proxy settings. If multiple wifi payloads are deployed to the same device, the priority in which networks are connected to is determined at the device level and cannot be set in Avalanche.

If a WiFi payload is unapplied in Avalanche, the WiFi settings are not removed from affected Android devices. If you want to remove the settings at the device level, you must perform a selective wipe on the desired devices or remove the settings manually.

A WiFi payload has the following options:

Android

When a Wifi payload is deployed to an Android device, it has a higher priority over other manual and auto-scan wifi connections. The device will always attempt to connect wireless networks from Avalanche payloads first before attempting other networks.
